My maths 24/6/14

Telling time

I like this app because it helps me to learn how to tell time

Writing 24/6/14

This is my writing about the transfer station and land fill

We went to the transfer station to learn rubbish is bad for the environment some animals can die from eating rubbish mostly under water animals. We should not pollute our nature we should put our rubbish in the recycling bin.

Then a lady called Angela took us to a old wooden shed where she told us keep green and blue bottles away from clear bottles or they will turn brown and we would recycle 5000tons in one week.

We walked around to where all of the rubbish was sorted there was crushed boxs broken beer bottles ripped paper those things where what cannot be recycled. The metal trailers were filled with orange bags to keep weeds in when you don't want them in your garden.

As I walked a little bit slower than everyone else then we were all looking at a loder that was pushing rubbish into piles just then I saw a huge tyre like the one off sumdog.

We were starting to get tired when Angela said we could have morning tea I had a packet of rice snacks finnely everybody finished their morning tea ' so we will now go to the landfill' said Angela.

So we all got on the bus to go to the landfill we had to wear orange construction jackets the driver parked the bus we all tottled out a truck drove past it was carrying rubbish it was a rubbish truck then we climbed on the fence then the last we on the bus and drove to school.
